How do I edit or delete an unlocked package?

Only unlocked packages can be edited or deleted. To edit an unlocked package, open the Packages page.

Click on the package you want to edit. The details panel will open.

At the top of the details panel, click Edit.

Edit the title and description as desired.  In this example, the title was changed from “Anxiety events” to “Anxiety and Anger Events”. Then click Save.

To add additional items to an existing package, click on the package in the Packages page. The details panel will open.

Click Items in the details panel.

Click Add items. Note that journal entries that are already included in the package do not appear in the list of entries.

Click on the items to be added to the package, or use a word search or tag search to retrieve and select the items.

Click Add selected to package.

As noted earlier, you can add to the package locked journal entries that were included in previous packages.

It is also possible to add journal entries to a package on-the-fly from within the journal entry details panel while viewing the client’s Journal. To do this, the package must first be created even if it contains no entries. Then, open the client’s Journal.

Click on the journal entry you might want to add to the package.

Click Add to package at the top of the details panel. A drop-down list of available unlocked packages will appear below the button. The list of packages will exclude those packages in which the item is already included, and all locked packages.

Click on the package name to which you want to add the entry. The details panel will indicate that the entry was just added to the package.

If you click on the package name in the details panel, CaseKeepers will open a new browser window that displays the package and its contents, including the journal entry you just added.

Returning to the client’s Journal and the details panel of the journal entry, if there are no unlocked packages to which the package can be added, the Add to package button will not appear. If there are one or more unlocked package(s) but they already include the journal entry, the Add to package button will be disabled and appear in light blue (see image below).

To remove a journal entry from a package (after entries have been added), click on the package in the Packages page. The details panel will open.

Click Items in the details panel.

Click on the journal entry to be removed.

Click Remove from package. CaseKeepers will display the following warning:

Click Remove. The entry will be removed from the package. Note that this will not delete the journal entry; it will only remove it from the package.

To delete an unlocked package, open the Packages page.

Click on the package to be deleted. The details panel will open.

Click Delete in the details panel. CaseKeepers displays a warning asking you to confirm that you want to delete the package.

Click Delete in the details panel. The package is deleted and no longer appears on the Packages page.
